I was born in Vatnsdalur, Fljótshlíð, 1938.
I live and work in Reykjavík
My childhood in the country was according to the artist priceless treasure, and the connecting whit nature shaped my thinking ever since. I have stimuladet from music.
1974 I became a member of Seltjarnarnes Art Club. The Club had an excellence instructors. 1992 The Reykjavik School of visuled Art. From 1998 I have focussed on water color, working in Reykjavík School under the guidance of Hlíf Ásgrímsdóttir.
I have worked extensively with mentaly handicapped people.
Exhibitions: Join in several group exhibitions in Iceland and abroad. Six times
One-man show all over the country.
Profiled several exhibitions for mentally handicapped people, whom I also have been teaching for many years.
